MIAMI, FL — Lukas Machnik, winner of NBC's “American Dream Builders,” and semi-finalist Nina Magon are thrilled to announce a new collaborative design venture, exclusive to Miami, called MM Studio: Magon Machnik Studio
The two designers formed a bond on the set of the NBC show that debuted earlier this year, which led to the new endeavor.
“While filming and designing on NBC's American Dream Builders, Lukas Machnik and myself worked on only two projects toward the end of the season as we were two of the final four. On those two projects, we were practically able to read each other's minds despite our completely different preferences of design aesthetic,” says Nina Magon, Principal of Contour Interior Design.
“My partnership with Nina revolves around balance — the balance of previously contrasting styles and moods to a point that they become complementary. Nina and I complete each other — and by mixing Minimalism with Glam, the soft with the austere, we hope to bring something new to the Miami scene,” explains Lukas Machnik, Principal of Lukas Machnik Design.
Machnik, the king of minimalism, and Magon, the queen of glam, present a new lifestyle concept befitting for the ever-hanging fabric of Miami. Machnik's European background, coupled with Magon's Indian descent, create a truthfully international perspective. Magon's soft and sensual eye, combined with Machnik's minimalist approach to architecture and design, strike a balance that creates bold spaces for the most fastidious appetites.
“The Gateway to the Americas — its nickname says it all. Miami is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world — Latin American meets Art Nouveau, Resort meets Art Basel, and Neo-Modernism meets Spanish Revival,” adds Machnik. “All forms of luxury coexist in Miami — now it's ready for a fresh, minimalist twist.”
MM Studio Miami offers high-end interior design, luxury hospitality and commercial design, and curation of fine art and significant design collections. MM Studio will temporarily function out of Miami's Financial District, prior to moving to its South Beach location.
